DANIEL KELLY

My name is Daniel Kelly, I am a 2014 Pennsylvania State University graduate with a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications. Ever since I was young I have been impassioned with outlets that allow me to express my creativity. The first of these was music, I started playing guitar when I was 12 and I have continued to play everyday since then. Another passion of mine however is film and video. Upon reaching high school I decided to take a movie making class, little did I know this class would turn out to be the spark that would set me on a path to follow video production as a career. Once entering college I knew what I wanted to do from the start, so I chose to enroll in the College of Communications and pursue my dream as a video producer. Throughout my collegiate experience I learned more than I could have imagined through the classes I participated in, as well as the multiple internships I completed. My education gave me exstensive experience and insight to the many facets of video production, from in-studio television recordings, to filming live sports productions, and even standing on the 50 yard line of Beaver Stadium filming the famous Blue Band. I look at all of my past endeavors as only the beggining of what I believe will be a long and impactful career within the video production field.
